This week the students of Zion Lutheran School in Lincoln are celebrating National Lutheran Schools Week with different activities each day.

On Wednesday, the students participated in a spelling bee, visited local nursing homes and shared their singing talents with residents, and had a special "Chapel Family Fun Day."

All of the students in kindergarten through eighth grade participated in the event.  The "chapel families" are made up of children of all age levels, and the seventh- and eighth-graders are the leaders.
