WAYNESVILLE -- Shirley I. Price, 76, of
Waynesville, died Thursday, March 8, 2012, at 4:50 p.m. at Manor
Court of Clinton.

Waynesville- Shirley I. Price, 76, of Waynesville
passed away on Thursday, March 8, 2012 at 4:50 p.m.
at Manor Court of Clinton.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Price will be held on
Monday, March 12, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the
Waynesville United Methodist Church with Rev. Andrew
Maxwell officiating.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00
p.m. on Sunday, March 11, 2012 at the Quiram Peasley
Funeral Home in Atlanta.
Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Waynesville.
Shirley Ineta Price was born on December 6, 1935 in
Canton, Illinois the daughter of William and F.
Ineta Oatman Roseboom. She married Jack L. Price on
March 1, 1957. He survives.
Also surviving are her two sons: Randy L. (Ruth)
Price of Minonk, Rodney A. (Staci) Price of Clinton,
one sister: Dorothy (Kenneth) Cameron of Missouri.
Four grandchildren, one stepgrandchild, five great
grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.

Shirley was the manager for the Spurgeon's Beauty Salon in Clinton for
many years. She was an election judge for many years and a cook at the
Waynesville grade School. She was a board member for the Waynesville
Township Library
She was a member of the Waynesville United Methodist Church. Member of
the Eastern Star.
Memorials may be made to the Waynesville Fire Department or to the
Waynesville United Methodist Church or the Waynesville Township Library. |
