[March 14, 2012]  Lincoln Elementary District 27 is seeking nominations for the Lincoln Junior High School "Wall of Fame." The purpose of the Wall of Fame is to recognize notable District 27 graduates, promote pride in Lincoln and District 27, and provide positive role models for current and future students.

HardwareAnyone who wishes to suggest an honoree should contact Susan Rohrer by email at srohrer@lincoln27.net. Nominations are due by March 28. Individuals nominated will be considered for recognition this year, and those not selected will be considered in future years.

District 27 is proud of the contributions its graduates have made at the local, state and national levels in law, medicine, education, engineering, religion, business and the arts. The district has helped establish the educational foundations for their accomplishments and feels the graduates and their achievements are worthy of recognition.

In addition to the Wall of Fame, District 27 will have a dinner at the American Legion on April 21 to honor the distinguished alumni. Following a recognition ceremony for distinguished graduates, a comedic magician will entertain the attendees. The event will also be a fundraiser for technology improvements in all District 27 schools.

The dinner will be catered by Guzzardo's Italian Villa.

The cost of the evening is $35 per person. Reservations must be made by April 13. All checks should be made payable to Lincoln Elementary District 27.

For additional information and reservations, contact Susan Rohrer at srohrer@lincoln27.net.
