[March 19, 2012]  Cody Litwiller (Eureka) had a good game at the plate to help Lincoln College to a 6-3 victory over Rock Valley on Sunday at Lincoln.

HardwareLitwiller racked up two RBIs with his 1-2 outing with a sacrifice fly.

Rock Valley had no answer for Steven Sotiropoulos (Belleville), who cruised on the mound. Rock Valley managed just two hits off the Lincoln College pitcher, who allowed one earned run, walked four and struck out four during his five innings of work.

Kenny May (Belleville) was superb in relief, pitching two scoreless innings.

Lincoln College stayed on top until the final out after taking the lead in the fourth, scoring two runs on the sacrifice fly by Litwiller and a steal of home by Bo Banning (Maroa)

Lincoln (8-4) will play host to Kaskaskia on Wednesday.
