Logan County's own Peggy Lee spoke about her
community, Elkhart. She focused on the Elkhart Library, telling
how the library began after a pledge from the town to go "dry" for
three years.

Flight Museum at the Logan County Airport. She pointed out that the
beacon at the airport was used by Charles Lindbergh when he was flying the
mail. |

County Genealogical & Historical Society, explained the health
condition of Bill Donath.

Rohlfs recognizes a valuable volunteer, Mary
Kelley, who
last year gave of her time daily to assist Main Street in keeping
the new flower planters on the square watered.

Kelley smiles happily at the gift given to her
by the Main Street organization. She said working with the
members of the LCHS National Honor Society last year in the watering
project was a great pleasure, with the added perk of getting to spend
more time with her daughter. |
