[March 22, 2012]  LINCOLN -- Janet Irene Van Bibber, 70, of Lincoln, died Thursday, March 22, 2012, at 12:40 p.m. at her home.

LINCOLN-Janet Irene Van Bibber, 70, of Lincoln joined her Heavenly Father on Thursday, March 22, 2012 at 12:40 p.m. at her home surrounded by her family after a very brief illness.

Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Friday, March 23 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home, Lincoln.  Services will be held on Saturday, March 24 at 10:30 a.m. at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home, Lincoln with Rev. David Andreasen officiating.    Burial will be at Zion Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to Faith Assembly of God Church of Lincoln in lieu of flowers.

Jan Van Bibber was born at home, on May 27, 1941 in Divernon, IL to Earl and Florine Hatfield.  She married Lester C. Van Bibber III on June 28, 1957 in Waynesville, IL.  He survives in Lincoln.

Jan is also survived by her children: Twila Burgauer of Bloomington, IL; Lester C. Van Bibber IV (Jody) of Normal, IL; Tena Leich (Marshall) Leesburg, FL; Rodney K. Van Bibber (Terres) Wauwatosa, WI; ten grandchildren: Janene and Richard Burgauer Bloomington, IL; Sarah and Amber Van Bibber  of Bloomington, IL; Tera Johnson Swartz of Steamboat Springs, CO; Keri Hunter of Lincoln; Patrick, Emily, Thomas and Catherine Van Bibber of Wauwatosa, WI; three great grandchildren:  Makenzie Van Bibber of Bloomington; Livingston Swartz of Steamboat Springs, CO and Ava Hunter of Lincoln; one sister: Vicky (Joe) Farley of Lincoln, IL.  Jan was preceded in death by both of her parents, Earl and Emily Florine Hatfield and brothers: Larry and Gary Hatfield.

Jan attended Faith Assembly of God Church in Lincoln.

Jan was an outstanding wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.  She will be sadly missed by all of her family and many friends.
