Elias F. Klokkenga joins State Bank of Lincoln

[March 26, 2012]  Steve Aughenbaugh, president of the State Bank of Lincoln, announced that Eli Klokkenga has joined the bank as loan officer and farm manager.

Elias F. Klokkenga, son of Alan and Sylvia Klokkenga, is from Emden. He graduated from the University of Illinois in May of 2011 with a bachelor's degree in agribusiness and a minor in crop and soil management.

Klokkenga was a recipient of several scholarships at the University of Illinois, including the Jonathon Baldwin Turner Scholarship and the Warren K. Wessels Achievement Award.

While on campus, he was also involved in a number of activities, including ACES student council, Agriculture and Consumer Economics Club, and the Student Advancement Committee. He was also a member of the Alpha Gamma Rho fraternity as well as several honorary fraternities, including Alpha Zeta.

"Eli Klokkenga is an excellent addition to our staff as an ag lender and farm manager," Aughenbaugh said. "He is an outstanding young man from a fine Logan County farm family. I am confident that our customers will enjoy getting to know and working with Eli."
