[March 29, 2012]  Lincoln College and Lake Land matched up for a much-anticipated two-game set between the area's premier teams. Lake Land proved to be better offensively, taking both games from the Lynx, 11-6 and 13-2.

However, neither team had a premier performance. The two central Illinois teams combined for 20 walks, 11 hit by pitcher and five errors.

The Lakers' offense produced six long balls in the two games as they collected 24 total hits.

Cody Litwiller (Eureka) was the offensive leader for the Lynx with two hits and an RBI.

Lincoln College (11-8, 2-2 MWAC) travels to John Wood on Saturday.
