[March 28, 2012]  Cub Scout Pack 111 will be at the Lincoln Wal-Mart on Saturday doing a "show and sell" of candy bars to help with medical expenses of one of their fellow Scouts.

Eight-year-old Harley Cooper has Legg-Calve-Perthes syndrome and has had to undergo three surgeries thus far, with more expected as he continues to grow.

According to Shannon Hughes, treasurer, the Scout pack wants to do something to help Harley. When they sell candy bars Saturday, all the donations received will go to Harley.

There will be a benefit for Harley on April 7 at the American Legion in Lincoln. The Cub Scouts will give their contribution to the fundraiser then.
