On March 10, the ladies of the Abraham Lincoln Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution met at the Salvation Army Keest Center.

The ladies were guests of the new director, Tony Shuff, and his wife, Pam. The DAR ladies learned about the Salvation Army and the Shuffs.

During a delicious box lunch provided by Peggy's Place, the ladies gave updates on their lives since the previous meeting. Well wishes were sent to the chapter's friend and co-vice regent, Helen Fine. Sarah Benner, American History chair, was presented an award in recognition of the Good Citizen Awards the DAR gives to students of local schools.

After lunch the chapter was given a tour of the beautiful Salvation Army facilities. The DAR chapter thanks the Shuffs for the contribution they are making to the community.
