Remote-control racers got a feel for RJD's track on Friday evening and Saturday morning before official competition launched for the afternoon.

The inside track, featuring hairpin curves, single- and double-jump hills, sported distinctive Easter Seal symbols.

The event also featured a live auction of RC goods, autographed items from pro drivers, a raffle and a 50-50 drawing.

RJD Hobbies and Raceway not only has an indoor track, but also uses an outdoor track during the warm weather season. The tracks and hobby shop share grounds with Bee's Landscaping and are located on Illinois Route 10 east of Lincoln.
