Aon, Digital River, Dolby are market movers

[May 05, 2012]  NEW YORK (AP) -- Stocks that moved substantially or traded heavily Friday on the New York Stock Exchange and Nasdaq Stock Market:

NYSE

Aon Corp., down $2.96 at $48.39

Due to higher costs and unfavorable currency exchange rates, the insurance brokerage firm's first-quarter net income fell 3 percent.

Dolby Laboratories Inc., up $6.59 at $44.22

The company posted solid second-quarter results and said its digital audio encoding program will be in Microsoft's operating system.

Fluor Corp., up 39 cents at $56.93

The engineering company said its first-quarter profit rose 10.9 percent as it saw strong growth from its oil and gas customers.

Warnaco Group Inc., down $3.19 at $47.94

The clothing maker lowered its 2012 forecast and said its first-quarter net income fell, hurt by the weak European economy.

Einstein Noah Restaurant Group Inc., up $2.67 at $16.71

The owner of bagel chain Noah's Bagels said it is considering strategic alternatives, including a possible sale of the company.

GeoEye Inc., up 80 cents at $24.83

The operator of imaging satellites launched a hostile takeover bid for rival DigitalGlobe Inc., offering the company $792 million.

Zagg Inc., up 2 cents at $11.95

The maker of cases and other accessories for cell phones and tablets posted first-quarter results that beat analysts' expectations.

Digital River Inc., down $2.18 at $16.39

Due to rising costs, the online commerce technology company said that its first-quarter net income fell from a year ago.
