[May 05, 2012]  A break from severe storms is expected Saturday and Saturday night, as the focus for severe weather remains west of Illinois.

Dense morning fog will affect areas from Bloomington to Champaign, but sunshine should develop for most by this afternoon. The stationary front will linger just to the south, but scattered storms will be possible across the southern portion through Saturday night.

Strong to severe storms will be possible again Sunday afternoon and evening as a storm complex rolls out of Iowa across central and southeast Illinois. Large hail and damaging winds will be the primary hazards.
