Friday, sixth-grade students from throughout the county were invited to attend a pizza party at the Lincoln Park District.

The invitation was extended to all D.A.R.E. program schools in the county, and according to Lincoln Police Department Chief Ken Greenslate, almost every school was in attendance.

Students arrived at the park district around 11:30 and were treated to all the pizza they could eat and soda.

After lunch they had the opportunity to work off their lunch in the gymnasium area.
