Soccer champions

Two local boys, Michael Bruce
and Brady Thomas, competed in a
soccer tournament in Moline last weekend with the Morton Blaze 96ers
and came home as champions, with three shutout games and one game
when the opposing team scored only one goal.

They will play again in Bloomington this weekend.
