Free orthopedic event at Memorial Medical Center

[May 18, 2012]  SPRINGFIELD -- A free seminar on treatment for bunions and foot pain is scheduled for May 29 at 6 p.m. in the Wedeberg Conference Center at Memorial Medical Center.

Springfield Clinic physicians Mandy Sipes, a podiatrist, and Benjamin W. Stevens, M.D., will present "Bunions and Foot Pain: What are My Options." They will discuss a team approach for the treatment of foot pain. Topics that will be addressed are podiatric and orthopedic nonsurgical and surgical options, bunions and heel pain.

The event is open to the public.

The seminar will conclude at 7 p.m.

Memorial Medical Center is at 701 N. First St. in Springfield. The Wedeberg Conference Center is on the hospital's lower level, near its main entrance, at Miller and First streets. Free parking is available in the hospital's visitor parking lots across from the main entrance. Valet parking is also available.
