The Lincoln Futbol Club soccer fields are located behind the Wal-Mart Supercenter on a piece of rolling ground. According to coach Tim Stuckey, the club had minimal funds to work with when they started up, so they laid out the fields to fit inside the contours of the land. He said it worked out nicely in the end because there is plenty of parking for the 200 or more vehicles that can be on the grounds at any one time.

Stuckey said soccer is definitely a family sport. Players don't arrive in rented buses, they get there in the back of mom and dad's van, and often bring along grandma and grandpa. He estimated on a day like Sunday with 300, each accompanied by family, there was a possibility of 800 to 1,000 people visiting Lincoln and spending money here on fast food, cold drinks and gas.
