[May 22, 2012]  From the Ground Up, the city's volunteer beautification effort, coordinated the planting of the new planters around the courthouse square last Wednesday evening. Special thanks go to the Rotary Club and to Jonie and Harry Tibbs for coming out to help.

This Wednesday evening the group is coordinating another planting. This time they will plant lilies along the railroad right of way at the corner of First and College streets. Just show up at 5:30 p.m. at the viaduct and be ready to plant. No special skills required.
