The Lincoln & Logan County Development
Partnership is announcing the first Community Development Award. On
a yearly basis, the
partnership board has decided to reward a person, organization or
group of people for their work within Logan County
to enhance economic development and the quality of life. The award
winners will be chosen by the citizens of Logan County. The
individual or group will be announced and presented the award at the
development partnership's annual luncheon, which is on June 13 this
year.

The partnership board is looking for nominations of people,
organizations and formal groups of individuals who have been
instrumental in the economic development of Logan County communities
or the enhancement of our county's quality of life. To nominate
someone or a group for the Community Development Award, email
econdev@lincolnlogan.com with the answers to four simple questions:

Name and contact information of nominee(s)

What community or communities have been affected by the work of
the nominee(s)?

How did the work of the nominee(s) affect the identified
community or communities?

Your name
Nominations are due by May 29.
"Every community has an individual or group that is willing to
lead the development of their town. With this award we hope to
recognize some of the great work all of those individuals have done
in Logan County," said Michael Maniscalco, executive director of the
development partnership.
