Lincoln Memorial Hospital employees gathered on
the hospital patio Wednesday to witness the
sealing of two time capsules that are now on
display in the lobby. One is new.

Phillip Phillips, "American Idol" Season 11 winner, performs after his win. With confetti floating through the
air and roaring applause nearly drowning him out, he made it
partway through his song, then in an emotional moment stopped
singing, left the stage and embraced his family waiting for him
in the front row.
Phillips, a bluesy Georgia guitar man, was crowned the new
"American Idol" on Wednesday after defeating teenager Jessica
Sanchez in record viewer voting. He was the fifth male "Idol"
winner in a row.
The Lincoln Railers lost their sectional game to Normal West 11-4. However, Ryan Montcalm hit a double in the third inning,
breaking the team record for double hits. Congratulations to Ryan
and all the Railers for a great season!
