 Sections of the road will be closed during the course of
construction. The project is expected to last up to one week.
Microsurfacing consists of the application of a latex-modified
asphalt, along with portland cement and coarse aggregate. The result
is a preventive maintenance treatment that should address the
roughness and extend the life of the existing pavement. The roadway
will have pavement striping done later this summer.
