WLB splits games at Mount Pulaski

[November 02, 2012]  MOUNT PULASKI -- The West Lincoln-Broadwell teams played on the road Thursday and split their basketball games with Mount Pulaski.

The seventh grade (0-1) lost a closely contested game 35-31. The Wolverines were led by Jack Eimer with 15 points, and he also contributed seven assists, five steals and five rebounds. Zach Morris added six points and four boards. Rounding out the scoring for the Wolverines were Will Tiffany and Peyton Batley with four each and Blake Jones with two.

The WLB eighth grade (1-0) won in convincing fashion 33-17. Preston Ebelherr led the attack with 10 points. Alex O'Donoghue added eight points along with eight rebounds, and Casey Mollohan had six points and a team-high 10 rebounds. Rounding out the WLB scoring were Nate Sprague with five points and Zac Montcalm and Eimer with two each.

WLB hosts Bloomington Cornerstone Christian on Tuesday.
