Minier Community Claus spaghetti dinner

[November 03, 2012]  MINIER -- The Community Claus Committee will host a spaghetti dinner on Nov. 13 at St. John United Church of Christ in Minier. Serving will be from 5 to 7 p.m. The dinner will include spaghetti, bread, lettuce salad, dessert and drink. Carryouts will be available.

The meal will be served prior to the Family Reading Night event across the street at the Olympia West Elementary School. Let the committee do the cooking while you support a great cause.

Each person who donates items that evening for the Community Claus will be entered into a drawing for donated door prizes.

The Olympia High School Chamber Choir will perform at 6 p.m.

Community Claus is a cooperative project between various businesses, individuals, civic groups and area churches working together to provide Christmas gifts and support for needy families in the Minier and Armington areas.

The program name Community Claus indicates that a large number of people in the communities have taken an active part in this important project to help those in need.
