Lincoln College hosting 5th annual holiday shopping trip

[November 03, 2012]  Lincoln College has announced its fifth annual holiday shopping trip, planned for Nov. 10. On the college-sponsored trip, participants travel to Woodfield Mall and IKEA in Schaumburg by motor coach.

It is an all-day shopping extravaganza, with the motor coach departing from the Lincoln campus at 7 a.m., stopping in Normal at 7:40 a.m. at the Schnucks parking lot near Raab Road and Main Street, near the Lincoln College-Normal campus, and with an anticipated arrival time of 10:30 a.m. in Schaumburg. The motor coach will leave Schaumburg at 6 p.m. to return to central Illinois.

The cost for transportation is $40. Bottled water, muffins, fruit, snack mix, a shopping bag and a coupon book are also included in the $40 fee.

A limited number of seats are still available for the trip and must be purchased in advance. Cash, check and credit cards are acceptable forms of payment.
