Memorial to host free orthopedic seminar on shoulder problems

[November 05, 2012]  SPRINGFIELD -- A free seminar, "Surgical Management of Shoulder Problems," will be presented Nov. 12 at 5:30 p.m. in the Wedeberg Conference Center at Memorial Medical Center. The event is open to the public.

During the 90-minute session, Orthopedic Center of Illinois surgeons Leo K. Ludwig, M.D., and Ronald R. Romanelli, M.D., will discuss the latest advances in surgical management of shoulder problems. Topics include arthroscopic rotator cuff repairs, arthroscopic stabilization procedures and reverse shoulder replacements for rotator cuff arthropathy.

The event will conclude at 7 p.m.

Memorial Medical Center is at 701 N. First St. in Springfield. The Wedeberg Conference Center is on the hospital's lower level, near the main entrance. Free parking is available in the hospital's visitor parking lots across from the main entrance, at Miller and First streets.
