Reports: Blanks fired near Turkish PM's office

[November 05, 2012]  ANKARA, Turkey (AP) -- News reports say police have detained one person who fired blanks outside Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan's office.

Private NTV television says Monday three shots were heard near one the entrances to the office.

The incident occurred while Erdogan was presiding over a Council of Ministers meeting inside the building.

It was not clear if anyone was injured in the incident.
