Illinois country grain prices were
higher on Tuesday.
In another quiet day of trading,
wheat gained strength from higher world wheat values and low
crop condition ratings for the U.S. wheat crop.
In Northern and Western Illinois country grain dealers quoted
shelled corn bids mostly 3 to 6 cents higher at 7.19-7.38.
Soybean bids were 10 to 15 cents
higher at 14.82-14.95.
In Central Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn
bids were 2 to 6 cents higher at 7.30-7.48.
Soybean bids were 12 to 15 cents
higher at 15.00-15.13.
In the Southern part of the state, shelled corn bids were steady
to 3 cents higher at 7.20-7.55.
Soybean bids were 7 to 12 cents
higher at 14.89-15.11. Wheat bids were 10 to 11 cents higher at
8.57-8.72.
