[November 08, 2012]  HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) -- Freshman Breanna Stewart scored 21 points to lead No. 2 Connecticut to a 119-50 rout of Division II Holy Family on Wednesday night in the Huskies' final exhibition game of the season.

Brianna Banks added 20 points for Connecticut, which hit 18 of 34 shots from 3-point range. Seven Huskies scored in double figures

Ana Cruz and Erin Mann both scored 11 points for Holy Family. The Tigers led 20-19 midway through the first half, but the Huskies hit five 3-pointers in a 15-0 first-half run to take control and outscored Holy Family 61-12 in the second half.

UConn played without starting point guard Bria Hartley, who sprained her left ankle in August and is questionable for the regular season opener on Sunday against the College of Charleston.
