Wednesday evening most of the San Jose community turned out for the annual United Methodist turkey dinner and bazaar.

The event is put on each year by the Methodist women, with a little help from the men and various members of the community.

The special evening includes a turkey dinner with all the traditional dishes such as mashed potatoes, gravy, vegetables and a delicious dessert buffet, finished off with a choice of drink.

The evening also includes a bazaar that features a country store and candy shop.
