[November 27, 2012]  The Logan County Emergency Management Agency sent out the following email this morning, warning of a scam that is targeted at gaining the credit card numbers of those who respond to the email or text:

It appears that there is a SPAM message being sent to phones and other devices indicating that the person's credit / debit card has been "flagged" and that you need to call 919-845-5525. The call goes to an recorded message indicating that you should enter your card number to remove the flag from your account. This is a bogus system attempting to obtain your card number.
