On Friday night, the Railers outplayed Greenville and came away with
a 2-1 victory. Kyle Klockenga and Ryan Sloan scored the Lincoln
goals. Klockenga's goal was assisted by Sloan.
In the semifinal game Saturday morning, the Railers fell victim
to Freeburg 1-0 on a questionable penalty kick call.
In the third-place game Saturday afternoon, the Railers defeated
Illinois Math and Science Academy of Aurora 5-3, despite being
exhausted from playing four games in 48 hours. In the third-place
victory, Lincoln’s goals were scored by Tommy Harris (1), Harry
Splain (2) and Kyle Klockenga (2). Assists were given by Trace
Splain, Colby Leith (2) and Harry Splain. Splain's two goals were
both headers off corner kicks from Leith.

The Lincoln record is now 9-8.
The Railers finish the regular season this week, traveling to
Rochester on Tuesday and to Jacksonville this weekend for the
Jacksonville High School fall tourney.
