Free seminar on artery health

[October 04, 2012]  SPRINGFIELD -- A free seminar on artery health will be presented Monday at 6 p.m. in the Wedeberg Conference Center at Memorial Medical Center. The event is open to the public.

The seminar, "The Heart is Just the Start," will focus on how to prevent and treat problems with the arteries, including blocked arteries of the legs and aneurysms throughout the body.

Memorial Heart and Vascular Services is the host of the seminar.

Two experts in the field of vascular surgery, Dr. Kim Hodgson with SIU HealthCare and Dr. Andrew Lambert with Springfield Clinic, will lead the seminar and answer questions.

The session will conclude at 7:30 p.m.
