LINCOLN -- Frances M. Kendrick, 97, of
Lincoln, died Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2012, at the Christian Nursing Home
in Lincoln.

Frances M. Kendrick, 97, of Lincoln, passed away
October 3, 2012 at the Christian Nursing Home in
Lincoln.
Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM
Saturday, October 6, 2012 at Holland Barry & Bennett
Funeral Home in Lincoln. Funeral services will be at
11:00 AM Saturday also at the funeral home with
Father Fontana officiating. Burial will follow in
St. Mary's Cemetery, Lincoln.
Frances was born August 27, 1915 in Lincoln, IL., the
daughter of Michael and Manda (Zupan) Verban. She
married Franklin M. Kendrick on December 26, 1955 in
Lincoln, IL. He preceded her in death on January 27,
1972.

She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in
Lincoln, was a real estate agent for 30 years,
formerly worked for the state of Illinois as a seed
analyst, attended Lincoln Business College for 2
years, and was a member of the Lincoln Elks Club.
Surviving are her nieces, nephews, and other
relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her
husband Franklin, brothers Steve, Matt, and Emil and
sisters Katherine Verban and Mary McGee.
