LCHS Marching Band places 2nd at Metamora

[October 09, 2012]  METAMORA -- The Lincoln Community High School Marching Band attended a competition at Metamora High School on Saturday and brought home the hardware for their efforts.

Lincoln competed in Class 3A against Thornwood High School, Watseka High School and LaSalla-Peru High School. LaSalle-Peru took first place, with Lincoln coming in second. Watseka placed third, and fourth went to Thornwood.

Lincoln also won Best Drum Major and the Cassie Garren Crowd Pleaser Award.
