Sophomore Alicia Carson and Senior Krystine Schnautz continued to
lead the Red Lions in kills, supplying 25 of the team's 37 against
North Central. Freshman Taylor Cremeens recorded 17 sets during the
opening match. Schnautz later pounded out 26 kills and 25 digs
against Illinois Wesleyan. Carson recorded another 20 kills, while
Cremeens supplied 29 sets.
No. 3 LCU (13-8) is currently ranked in the top 10 in attacking
percentage, block average and kill average. Sophomore Emma Donnelly
is second in the NCCAA Division II for digs per game.
The Red Lions look to get back on track when they travel to
Eureka College on Wednesday for a 7 p.m. match in Eureka.
