[October 12, 2012]  The women's soccer team of Lincoln Christian University defeated Robert Morris of Peoria 4-0 Wednesday afternoon.

Senior Jamie McFadden gave the Red Lions an early 1-0 lead when she recorded her first career goal in the early minutes of the first half. From there, LCU controlled the pace of the game, allowing just six shots on goalkeeper Ashlan Rose.

Sophomore Moriah Kirkpatrick took advantage of her speed, putting 10 shots on goal. The forward gave the Red Lions breathing room when she recorded the second goal of the match late in the first half.

LCU provided a season-high 21 shots on goal during the game.

The Red Lions will host Maranatha Baptist Bible College on Saturday at 2 p.m. on the LCU soccer field.
