Logan County 4-H window display winners for National 4-H Week

[October 13, 2012]  Logan County 4-H clubs recently participated in a window display contest throughout the county as part of National 4-H Week activities, Oct. 7-13. This year's theme was "Join the Revolution of Responsibility."

Clubs participating were Atlanta Ag, with posters at Peggy's Place in Lincoln; Middletown 4-Hers, with a display at the Middletown Library in Middletown; The Pioneers, with a window at the New Beginnings thrift store in Lincoln; and Wide-A-Wake 4-H, with a window at Pink Shutter in Lincoln.

First place went to The Pioneers with their window at New Beginnings; second place was awarded to the Wide-A-Wake club for their window display at the Pink Shutter; and third place was awarded to Middletown 4-Hers for their display at the Middletown Library.

In addition, there were two individual poster winners: Molly Schempp from the Atlanta Ag 4-H club and Miriam Carter from The Pioneers.
