LC coach Mark Tippett commented:

"We have been off since last Thursday due to fall break, but we did not appear to be too rusty in our first match against LCU. We controlled the ball effectively and served very well. Greenville got off to a slow start and missed a ton of serves for us, but in sets one and two they really tested our defense. They forced us to raise our intensity level to meet the challenge, and I was pleased with how our players responded. Our passing was crisp, and our front-row players did an exceptional job of working together to create open shots for each other. Our setter, Vicky Arriola, was able to find the open hitter all night long. The wins this evening were a true team effort."

Lincoln College will hit the road on Friday to play a match at Kaskaskia College, then travel on to Ina to participate in a triangular set of matches at Rend Lake College on Saturday.
