Red Cross provides assistance to Lincoln resident after Wednesday
morning fire

The American Red Cross, Illinois
Capital Area Chapter, provided emergency assistance to a Lincoln
resident after a fire severely damaged the person’s home Wednesday
morning.

The fire occurred at 12 Grand Oaks Drive. American Red Cross
Disaster Action Team volunteers provided the affected individual
with Red Cross financial assistance for food, shoes, shelter and
clothing. The person also received Red Cross comfort kits.
The community can help those affected by future disasters by
volunteering with the American Red Cross or by making financial
contributions to local disaster relief by visiting
