[October 19, 2012]  The Lincoln Christian University volleyball team fell to Greenville College on Wednesday night 1-3. After losing the first set 20-25, the Red Lions of LCU were able to win the second 25-22. A tough Greenville offense led to the Red Lions losing the next two sets 21-25 and 14-25.

Much like she has all season, Senior Krystine Schnautz led the Red Lions with 13 kills during the match. Sophomore Alicia Carson and Junior Emily Sheley combined for 18 kills. Freshman Taylor Cremeens supplied 22 sets, while sophomore Emma Donnelly tallied up 44 digs.

Going into the match, the Red Lions knew they would be facing a tough Greenville squad. LCU defeated the NCAA Division III school earlier in the year 3-1. After winning the second set on Wednesday night, the Red Lions looked as though they would pull off the third set, leading 18-15. Greenville then went on a 10-4 run to win the set and eventually the match.
