LCU volleyball vs. Moody Bible Institute

[October 23, 2012]  CHICAGO -- The Lincoln Christian University women's volleyball team claimed a three-set victory over Moody Bible Institute on Friday. After winning their first set 27-25, the Red Lions cruised on to their 18th victory of the season by winning the remaining sets 25-22 and 25-17.

Senior Krystine Schnautz led LCU with 16 kills while her teammate Alicia Carson tallied up 15. Freshman Taylor Cremeens supplied 20 sets to put the Red Lions in position for the win.

The Red Lions faced Benedictine University in Springfield on Monday at 6 p.m. in the last regular-season match before the regional tournament in Grand Rapids, Mich.

First-year head coach Dave Donnelly and his team will be put to the test as they fight for their 18th consecutive appearance in the national finals tournament.
