Angels are watching over the activities in preparation for the 29th annual
Harvest of Talents. All proceeds will go to International Disaster Emergency Service to aid hunger victims around the world.

A celebration of God's faithfulness to the Harvest of Talents will be on Sunday at 10 a.m. at Lincoln Christian University's Earl C Hargrove Chapel. Everyone is invited.

Thousands of homemade and handmade items will be coming in to the Lincoln Christian Church Fellowship Center this week for the Harvest of Talents for World Hunger. By midweek the "Christmas Nook" area was already starting to fill in rather nicely. Get your shopping list and head downtown. Doors open at 7 a.m.

Evelyn Last and Glenys McWilliams price a pair of fireplace skates
and other Christmas items for the "Christmas Nook" booth at the Harvest of Talents on Saturday.

Elizabeth Brackney, Glenys McWilliams and Steve Elkins do prep work for the homemade caramel pecan rolls that are a crowd-pleasing breakfast favorite for Saturday's Harvest of Talents.

Come early because they are served only from 7 to 10 a.m. or until they are gone.
