Lady Eagles split with Mount Pulaski Grade School

[October 25, 2012]  The Zion Lutheran Lady Eagles eighth-grade basketball team defeated the Mount Pulaski Honeybears by the score of 51-26 on Tuesday.

Brooklyn Hermes led the scoring with 16 points, scoring in each quarter. Hailie Williams had 12 points, Anna Sielaff had eight, and Katie Hunsley finished with seven. Other ZLS scorers were Tori Tripplett with four and Danielle Burgrabe and Gabbie Cox with two each.

The eighth-grade team now has a record of 6-1.

In the sixth-grade game, the Lady Eagles were defeated 33-13. Lane Prather scored 13 points and Madelyn Koehler scored two for Zion. This was the first game of the season for the ZLS sixth-graders.
