Among the many fun things to do on the square in downtown Lincoln Saturday evening was a chili supper. With the temperatures falling as the sun went down, folks enjoyed the hot, spicy soup as it was being dipped out into large containers for only $2 each.

There were two varieties to choose from: a traditional red chili, which, according to Lincoln Park District activity director Roy Logan, was relatively mild; and the second choice was a white chicken chili, which Logan said packed a little more heat.

Hot dogs were also served up.
