Thursday evening a large number of Mount Pulaski residents and friends of the courthouse turned out to celebrate the achievements of two individuals and lend support to the Mount Pulaski Courthouse Foundation.

The foundation has been formed to help raise money that in turn will be used to keep the courthouse in good condition for future generations.

The evening began with a social hour that included drinks and an hors d'oeuvres buffet that was graced by the presence of Count Casmir Pulaski in ice. The ice sculpture was created by an artist in Argenta. Following the social hour, a huge buffet-style dinner was served by Mike Richner Catering.
