The Lincoln Youth Football fourth-grade team continued to roll by beating the Springfield Boomers 27-7 Thursday at Springfield.

Lincoln was led by thunder and lightning. Stephen Gleason (the thunder) had 140 yards rushing and two touchdowns, and Seth Tungate (the lightning) had 90 yards rushing and two touchdowns. Griff Bossingham had 50 yards passing and Dylan Singleton added a 2-point conversion. Defensively, Karson Bonaparte got an interception and fumble recovery, Nolan Yates had three tackles, and John (the spark plug) Grover had a fumble recovery. 

Lincoln is now 4-0. Up next is Chatham at noon Saturday at Eaton Fields.
