Technical selling at the Board of Trade and profit taking by traders sent prices lower.

Many traders await the USDA's crop report to be released on Wednesday morning.

In Northern and Western Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn bids 16 to 20 cents lower at 7.59-7.88.

Soybean bids were 15 to 18 cents lower at
16.86-17.03.

In Central Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn bids were 16 to 17 cents lower at 7.83-7.98.

Soybean bids were mostly 17 to 18 cents lower at 17.12-17.21.

In the Southern part of the state, shelled corn bids were 16 to 17 cents lower at 7.81-8.10.
