LCU women's soccer shuts out Robert Morris

[September 18, 2012]  The Lincoln Christian University women's soccer team provided their first shutout of the season when they topped off Robert Morris University of Peoria 7-0 on Friday.

Sophomore Moriah Kirkpatrick set a career high with three goals for the Red Lions. Junior Elizabeth Langley recorded two goals and an assist. LCU controlled the pace of the game, allowing just two shots on goalkeeper Ashlan Rose.

The Red Lions will face Faith Baptist Bible College on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at Pyche Field in Ankeny, Iowa. LCU defeated FBBC 3-1 in a previous meeting this season.
