LCU men's soccer vs. Central Christian College of the Bible

[September 26, 2012]  The Lincoln Christian University men's soccer team claimed a 3-2 victory over Central Christian College of the Bible on Monday afternoon. Going into the second half, the Red Lions were tied 2-2 before they were able to seal the victory.

Freshman Jordan Ryherd and sophomore Logan Arney each recorded a goal in the match. Freshman Johnny Williams recorded an assist and his third goal in five games.

Goalkeeper Mitchell Brannock tallied up eight saves. In the final minutes of play, the Saints of Central Christian showed hope when they placed a shot in the bottom right corner of the goal before a diving Brannock kept it out.

The Red Lions will host MacMurray College on Saturday at 3 p.m.
