ALTMAN -- Mary Sue Altman, 69, of
Athens, formerly of Lincoln, died Thursday, April 4, 2013, at 8:27
a.m. at her home.

ATHENS-Mary Sue Altman, 69, of Athens, IL, formerly
of Lincoln, passed away at 8:27 a.m. at her home on
Thursday, April 4, 2013.
Mary Sue was born August 11, 1943 in Lincoln, IL the
daughter of Fred and Mary Greenslate Altman. Her
parents preceded her in death.
Mary Sue is survived by one sister: Joyce (Harold)
Seelye of Lincoln; three brothers: Fred (Sharon)
Altman of Pekin, IL; Herbert (Erica) Altman and Jim
Altman, both of Lincoln; six nieces and three
nephews and several great and great great nieces and
nephews.

She was a retired clerical employee from the State
of Illinois, Department of Transportation; a member
of First Baptist Church of Lincoln; and a member of
several Dog Clubs in Springfield and Decatur; helped
train dogs in obedience for many years and raised
champion dogs; she loved her dogs dearly.
Mary Sue's wishes were to be cremated with a
Celebration of Life at a later date. A private
burial will be in Zion Cemetery. Services were
entrusted to Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral
Home, Lincoln. Memorials may be given to the
Logan County Humane Society or First Baptist Church
of Lincoln.
